Libor is a sports enthusiast who has been offering accommodation for those who share his love for both winter and summer sports since 2012. He himself spends most of his free time cycling, skiing, cross-country skiing or even paragliding. His passion for an active outdoor life led him to the idea of establishing Ski & Bike Apartments in the mountains, where he could be close to what fulfills him.

An office on the ski slope

Problem

Libor is not present at the apartments 24/7, he works as a ski instructor at the Nassfeld ski resort. During the off-season, he spends some of his time in Brno, where he also works. Running the entire accommodation manually on paper had become unmanageable. That’s why we offered him a system that would allow him to manage accommodation on the slopes as well.

Libor uses several booking portals, with the best results achieved through Booking-com. However, getting to a prominent position in Booking’s rankings, increasing the visibility of one’s accommodation to potential guests and effectively using the settings offered by this portal is the real magic.

“Booking is essential for me, it brings in a lot of bookings. Guests often search for accommodation on this platform. But it’s almost impossible to identify key factors that Booking likes and that could increase the visibility of my accommodation. The navigation and setup for us, the hosts, within this platform is not very user-friendly,” says Libor.
